A Word About Quality
The EBLEX Quality Standard scheme for beef has been extended to include beef mince.To meet the standard, mince must be derived from livestock from farms operating in compliance with a farmassurance scheme approved by EBLEX and independently audited to EN45011 standard.
Quality Standard beef mince may contain a maximum of 20% fat, equivalent to an overall 85% visual lean prior to final stage mincing.
